Case Study
Award winning housing association Network Homes owns and manages 20,000 homes across London and the South East. Oakray Ltd has provided the complete replacement of the MVHR systems for Network Homes’ flats on the Brindley Estate. The occupied blocks of flats are within a built up area, with parking and access restrictions. The works included disconnection of 68 existing MVHR systems, upgrades to wiring and controls, cleaning of ducting and replacement of condense pipework, along with the supply and installation of Vent-Axia MVHR units.
Access was a major issue highlighted by the client on this site. With a dedicated office based administration manager for the project and on site CLO plus Saturday working, the project ran smoothly with minimal access issues. The works were completed on 67 properties at Astley House, Brindley House, and Radway House..
“The project ran well, aided by weekly work-in-progress meetings on site. Any ongoing issues or problems were generally resolved the same day. The workmanship and quality was of a high standard, with working areas within tenants homes kept tidy at all times and all debris removed from each property upon completion.”
